Star Wars Fighter Pods Series 6: Finn

My last post featured FN-2187, but this post features him under his new name, Finn.  Here he is with Poe Dameron’s jacket as he poses as a rebel.

I used a Padawan Obi-Wan head and a Greedo body to make our new rebel.

Star Wars Fighter Pods Series 6: FN-2187

Continuing the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Fighter Pods line is Stormtrooper FN-2187, better known as Finn.  Finn is an enjoyable character and I look forward to seeing his development in the new movie series.

FN-2187 was made from a Stormtrooper Luke body and a Padawan Obi-Wan head.  He continues a prevalent Fighter Pod theme of characters holding their helmets.

Taking the Force Awakens Plunge

I finally picked up some figures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie.  I wish Hasbro had brought back Fighter Pods along with Micro Machines because there are so many characters I’d love to have.  However, it’s just not practical for me to get them all in the 3 3/4″ scale.

First, I picked up a Micro Machines Rey and her speeder from the Micro Machine Blind Bag series 1.  Its the only character from The Force Awakens available in this series. The speeder includes her net of scavenged goods, which is a nice additional detail.  Fortunately the speeder stands on its own; the blind bag figures do not come with stands.

I also picked up the Wal-Mart exclusive 3 3/4″ Black Series Poe Dameron.  This super-articulated version comes with a removable helmet and a pistol that fits into the holster. For those of you who keep your figures in the package, the Black Series packaging allows you to remove the figure without damaging the package.

Here are Poe and some other pilots you might have seen before…

And since Hasbro didn’t bring back Fighter Pods, stay tuned for my versions of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Fighter Pods!
